In February, Stanley celebrated 175 years since the capital moved from Port Louis to Stanley. It was a day full of different events including a carnival which the Past Finders took part in.
12 members joined Sandra on the Mini Bus for the carnival. Each of the children were given flags to wave out of the windows as they made their way around town. We started the drive from the Scout Hut and finished behind the Town Hall car park. There was lots of joy and singing on the way.
A huge crowd of people walked alongside the carnival from the Narrows Bar to the Town Hall.
It was an amazing day for Past Finders to get involved with and will be part of History in years to come.
