Gardening, Painting & BBQ

A very enthusiastic Past Finders group roll up their sleeves, just in the nick of time!

Glorious start to gardening and painting at Cartmell Cottage. Everyone had a go at planting and nearly filled the whole garden. The group started by planting broccoli followed by brussel sprouts, potatoes, carrots, swede, white turnip, lettuce, radish & chives. Four hanging fence planters were filled with soil and flowers seeds planted; aster, daisy and Livingstone daisy’s and mint herb.

While there was only two at a time in the garden planting, the group painted the fence. As you can imagine the nicely cut green grass turned a shade of white!

Tasmin and helpers were busy cooking up a storm on the BBQ. Children had a well-deserved feast after all their hard work.

Well done guys, you're all fabulous!
