On a windy, but sunny day, the Past Finders rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into learning how to grow vegetables and flowers.
The group had a fantastic time planting broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, swede, white turnip, lettuce and radish. In addition to these they also planted Yellow Tree Lupins, Antirrhinum Lucky Lips, Midnight Candy, Verbena, Chrysanthemum Ferry mixed, Zinnia, Miniature Marigolds, Marigold African Double Mixed and Calendula Orange King.
Keep an eye out on their results on the Falkland Islands Museum & National Trust Facebook page.
Thank you to the Garden Center for letting us borrow their rotorvator and Brian Summers for his help. A big thank you must also go to Government House for donating lots of pretty plants.
Cartmell garden is looking amazing! Thank you to all members for their hard work.
