Cultivating Cartmell Cottage Garden

Preparing Vegetables and flowers for the Horticultural Show 2022

It was harvest time for the Past Finders!  They were busy little bees cutting broccoli, cabbage, digging potatoes, pulling carrots, white turnips and onions.

Flowers where chosen and cut just before delivering to the Town Hall for the show which this year was on Sunday 27th February. We are pleased to report that the Past Finders did really well - as you can see from the photos.  We are really proud of the group so well done to everyone involved.

PS. It wasn't all work though - helpers were treated to a bag of fresh produce to take home. :)
