On a cold winter's night, the bravest group members arrived at the Historic Dockyard Museum for their first sleepover at the museum. They all turned up keen as mustard, armed with their torches and sleeping bags.
The evening started with a feed of pizza before being split into teams for a scavenger hunt in the dark. The group worked hard to find all the answers around the museum and had to do a lot of exploring and learning to complete the hunt. A fantastic effort was made by all but in the end, Oliver Goodwin and Ruby Marsh won the competition taking home the most points.
It was then time to make the beds. The '82 Room floor became a sea of air mattresses and sleeping bags! Once everyone was settled it was movie & popcorn time. The first movie was Goosebumps followed by Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb which we thought was very apt! Then it was lights out!
It was an early start in the morning with most of the group up around 6am. After breakfast, everyone packed up and ventured out into the snow. The group was split into two and had a little competition to see who could build the best snowman. Sadly, the snow wasn't packing very well but they did manage to make miniature snowmen. Of course they also had a little snow ball fight just before parents arrived for pick up at 9am.
A great night was had by all!
