Spring has sprung!
A fantastic start to the season at Cartmell Cottage garden.
On Saturday 21st October eighteen Past Finders rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. Two at a time they walked the plank planting the garden while the others enjoyed a scavenger hunt in Cartmell Cottage looking for objects.
The group planted potatoes, cabbage, carrots, radish, lettuce, white turnip, swede and onion bulbs. Also, a variety of flowers kindly donated by Government House.
After all their hard work they enjoyed a delicious barbeque cooked by Kevin Ormond.
Thank you to all volunteers - you are all awesome!
The garden looks amazing!
