Thank you to Michelle Hill for helping to organise a visit to the Mount Pleasant School. Here at Past Finders, we believe networking and making new friends is hugely important.
Sandra started the visit by talking to the group about the history of the museum and some of the projects that are on-going.
Past Finders members were very brave and stood up to introduce themselves. The MPC students talked about what they like most about the Falkland Islands.
Sandra had 15 artifacts from the museum to show the group. The students were paired up and worked together on creating a label for each artifact.
It was lovely to see all the children engaging and supporting each other and discussing the items in front of them. The foghorn being the loudest!
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and we look forward to seeing the Mount Pleasant School visit the Historic Dockyard Museum soon.
Thank you again to all involved.
