Spring has sprung!
What a fantastic start to the season at Cartmell Cottage garden.
On Thursday, 24th October, 17 Past Finders rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. Two at a time they walked the plank, planting the garden while the others enjoyed a scavenger hunt in Cartmell Cottage.
The group planted cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli, kindly donated by Government House. They also planted potatoes, carrots, radish, lettuce, white turnip and a variety of flower seeds.
After all their hard work they enjoyed a delicious barbecue cooked by Kevin Ormond.
Thank you to all volunteers - you are all awesome!
The garden looks amazing!
